Our November 1st regular meeting has been postponed until November 22nd at 7:30 PM. The reason for this is that the committee, set up in October to supervise the process of extinguishing the lights, is still working on gathering all information and establishing all requirements and recommendations for our Brethren. The committee
has completed a review and list of our regalia and equipment in our storage area and has completed a statement of accounts. We are waiting for recommendations from Grand Lodge, which we will have before the 22nd.
During our October regular meeting, the decision to close our Lodge was put to a vote, and it was unanimously agreed that we should extinguish our light. It was also suggested that our regalia and furniture be available to the Brethren, if one would like to retain a reminder and keepsake of our Lodge. Please let the committee know (V. W. Bro. John Rycroft, W. Bro. Bob Telford, and myself) if you would keep a particular item, either by email or verbally at our 22nd meeting.
The committee to extinguish the lights will also be available to aide our membership in moving forward in Masonry. Please, if you have any questions, or suggestions, let us know.
I must also congratulate Bro. Emmanouil Kirkonas for his excellence in proving himself in the 3rd degree. He was letter perfect, which sets an example of what Masonry is about; always bettering oneself and being the best person that you can be.
Our November meeting will be strictly a business meeting to organize all aspects of our closure.
Please join us on November 22nd.
