R.W. Bro. Ronel Manabat New Years Message

Brethren,

As we embark well into 2019, I would like to extend my sincere wish to you and your family a happy, prosperous and healthy New Year.

Our district is well on its way to fulfill the goals that we planned for the year and I invite you to join us and collectively work together towards a successful year.

Having half of the Masonic year been completed, I would like to share some of the notable events that transpired. Let us start by congratulating the newly installed Worshipful Masters. WB Alkis Nicolaides of Patterson Grey No. 265, WB Reddy Sampath of Dufferin Lodge No. 570,  WB  Hetal Kara of Doric Lodge No. 316, VWB Stephen Maizels of Mosaic Lodge No. 559, WB Ali Unsac Gulgeze of Fairbank Lodge No. 592, WB Sam Spagat of Mt. Sinai Pillars No. 522, WB Carlos A. Valiente of Harry L. Martin Lodge No. 696, WB Derek McNulty of Kroy Lodge No. 676, WB Salam Haddad of Quinte-St. Alban No. 620, WB Davidson Tate on his 2nd term of Ionic Lodge No. 25, WB Christopher Macleod of Harcourt Lodge No. 581 and the newest installed Worshipful Master WB Ricardo Allingag Jr. of Remembrance Lodge No. 586.

Also, please join me in extending a sincere appreciation to the Immediate Past Masters that faithfully served their respective lodges. Worshipful Sirs, I personally thank you for the contributions you rendered to our district. You are now an integral part of the Past Masters of your lodge in which your guidance, support and kind whisper of good counsel is crucial in making an enjoyable Masonic experience for the brethren thus leading to your lodge’s happiness and success.

With mixed emotions, I would like to report the extinguishing of lights of Huron-Bruce Lodge No. 611. Huron-Bruce Lodge’s contributions and efforts has helped the district to becoming to what it is today and we are forever grateful for that. Please be reminded that even the lodge has gone dark, I would like to think that it is only in a dormant state that with the right circumstances it can someday come back to life. The memory of your friendship and camaraderie serves as a light that forever shines upon all of us in Toronto Don Valley District.  We wish you all the happiness and success in all your masonic endeavours.

Our district is geared to take charge into 2019, please use all the tools laid before you so that you can educate yourself of the district programs and participate on the committees that suits your interest. I am humbly soliciting for your full support to the district’s two major events being the Golf Tournament and the District Gala. Our website, the District Secretary as well as the Committee Chairmen are there to assist you to navigate through the district programs.

Finally my Brethren, much of our work are still ahead of us. The Brethren’s education, community involvement, cultivation of the tenets of Freemasonry and efforts to promote Charity to those who are less fortunate constitutes the district’s success, our success, your success…

Thank you and may the G.A.O.T.U bless us all. Together Brethren We Will Accomplish.
